Surya Remarks on Why is Rinku Singh Not Playing Today in IND vs WI T20 World Cup Match?

The 28-year-old left-handed batsman is missing the IND vs WI semifinal decider due to a recent family incident. Rinku’s father Khanchandra Singh, passed away from liver cancer. Upon learning of his father’s critical condition, Rinku left the Indian camp before the Zimbabwe match to join his family, perform the rituals, and return to Team India. Unfortunately, he did not feature against West Indies at Eden Gardens.

Explaining the pitch and game plan, Suryakumar stated:

We will bowl first tonight. Looks good. It has been a chasing ground; the wicket gets even better, so chasing is a good option. It’s already wild, and we will look to give a good show to the crowd. I think we ticked all the boxes last game. Same team.
