Beyond Reach Premier League (BRPL) is all set to provide a new platform for tennis-ball cricket players in India. Former India wicket-keeper Kiran More, head of BRPL, unveiled the tournament that has the potential to spot cricket talent at the grassroots level through street cricket and provide them an opportunity to showcase their skills at the highest level.
The tournament was launched by BRPL promoter Sushil Sharma, who has the vision of turning tennis-ball cricket into a league format. Former cricketers like Manoj Tiwary, Aakash Chopra, and Robin Uthappa are also associated with the tournament as talent selectors.
Beyond Reach Premier League Schedule
The BRPL schedule for the first edition is expected to take place in 2nd half of 2026. Beyond Reach Premier League start date not yet announced. The tournament will be a fast-paced version of 10 overs per side tennis-ball cricket, which has the potential to attract cricket enthusiasts at the grassroots level in India. Before the start of the tournament, trials will be conducted in various cities in India.

There are six teams participating in the BRPL cricket league in the first season:

BRPL Matches and Format
The matches of BRPL will be held in a short format of tennis ball cricket, similar to other emerging cricket leagues in street cricket.
The key features of the format are:
- Fast-paced short overs cricket
- Inclusion of amateur, grassroot cricket players
- Players are selected after conducting national trials
- A total of around 120-125 players will be selected for the tournament after the nationwide scouting process.
BRPL Cricket League Venues
The exact venues for BRPL matches have not yet been officially confirmed. However, trials and player selection camps will be held across multiple cities in India before the main tournament begins.
Organizers are planning to host the matches at major cricket venues to provide professional exposure to emerging tennis-ball cricketers.
