The Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2024 is about to be held at the end of July, featuring eight teams. The tournament is arranged to take place in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, starting on July 19. India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka are among the featured teams.
Women’s Asia Cup Groups 2024
The teams will be equally divided into two groups: Group A and Group B. India and Pakistan are placed in Group A, while the rest of the teams, including Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, and Bangladesh, will be in Group B. The finalists will get a chance to play in the final match.

The 2024 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup semi-final will be held on July 26, while the final will be played on July 28. The top team that wins the first match from each group will have a chance to play in the final.

From the Women’s Asia Cup India squad, Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the team as captain. Featured players will include Smriti Madhan and Jemimah Rodrigues, along with others. Similarly, from the Pakistan squad, Nida Dar will be leading the team, with featured players including Aliya Riaz, Muneeba Ali, and many more.

When did Women’s Aisa Cup Start?
The inaugural Women’s World Cup was held in 2004. This edition was held between the first four teams in the One Day International (ODI) format. India and Bangladesh played the final match, with India winning seven matches and losing one. Sri Lanka was the runner-up, and Pakistan won twice.
