Abhishek was discharged from hospital on Wednesday and is pushing hard to return. While SKY mentioned during Namibia game that he might miss a game or two, the latest buzz has him racing back just in time for tomorrow’s clash on February 15.

Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha chipped in: “I hope Abhishek Sharma will play tomorrow and recovers well. We want to compete against the best.”

Suryakumar Yadav fired back with a grin: “If Pakistan captain wants Abhishek should play, he will play.”

The 25 years old left hand batsman will replace Sanju Samson in the Team India playing XI against Pakitsan in T20 World Cup 2026.
